Direct answer
How is HeyDoctorCPA content reviewed?
HeyDoctorCPA content is written and reviewed by Jeff Huang, CPA. Tax-sensitive guidance uses primary government sources where practical, identifies the facts that may change the answer, states professional boundaries, and receives a visible review date after substantive review.
Our five editorial controls
- Start with a supportable answer.Pages answer the physician’s question before introducing exceptions, records, and next steps.
- Separate rules from judgment.Federal tax rules, state professional-practice restrictions, contract terms, financial assumptions, and advisory judgment are not treated as interchangeable.
- Prefer primary sources.Tax and regulatory pages link to the IRS, state agencies, CMS, SBA, or relevant professional organizations when those sources frame the issue.
- Review high-change topics more often.Tax-sensitive pages are reviewed at least annually and sooner after a material law, agency, filing, or professional-guidance change. Transaction and practice-management frameworks are reviewed at least every 18 months.
- Correct clearly.Material corrections update the visible review date and the affected answer, FAQ, schema, source list, and internal links together.
What a review date means
A review date means the page received a substantive content review as of that date. It does not turn educational information into advice for a specific physician, transaction, return, contract, or filing year.
Professional and privacy boundaries
HeyDoctorCPA does not publish guaranteed savings, unsupported rankings, invented client outcomes, or confidential client information. Public questionnaires are educational and browser-only; sensitive documents are accepted only through an approved secure process after fit and scope are confirmed.
